Lachhiwala is a famous family picnic spot located about 22 kilometers from Dehradun city. Nestled between numerous Sal trees, Lachhiwala provides its visitors with a calm and beautiful environment, which can be enjoyed among both children and adults. At Lachhiwala, a huge stream of water from Suswa River gets divided among different pools spread over an area of 700 meters. The depth of the water ranges between 4 feet to 7 feet deep.
